Yousuke Fuyama is a composer, programmer, and audiovisual artist based in Tokyo, Japan.
He holds a Master of Media Science (M.M.S) and works across video, sound, installation, and graphic arts—often incorporating digital programming and improvisational performance into his practice.

 

Fuyama’s work explores the creative potential of audiovisual expression through the dynamic interconversion of data across different interfaces and systems. Rooted in contemporary deconstructionist thought, his practice seamlessly weaves together core human elements—such as sensation, inspiration, and intuition—with digital media and technology.

 

His artistic range extends from contemporary art to underground culture, fluidly moving between dualities like complexity and simplicity, intensity and stillness, and the individual point versus the network. Renowned for his refined aesthetic sensibility, Fuyama bridges diverse values to offer a fresh, compelling vision that transcends conventional boundaries.
